Base Salary
$108k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of security practices within DevOps pipelines for DoD applications.
- Evaluate and integrate security tools into CI/CD workflows.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and penetration testing.
- Develop secure coding practices, incident response plans, and security training with cross-functional teams.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
- Automate security testing and compliance processes using infrastructure-as-code and security automation tools.
- Assess, design, develop, test, and implement business continuity and disaster recovery solutions.
- Provision and manage hybrid cloud and IaaS resources, container platforms, operating systems, databases, and networking environments.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI before starting.
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience or master’s degree with 6+ years of experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
- DoD 8140 intermediate certification or DoD 8570 IAM Level II certification or higher.
- Strong experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, configuration-as-code, hybrid cloud infrastructure, containers, and security tooling.
- Experience administering Linux and Windows systems, networks, relational databases, and cloud environments.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and independent-work skills.
- Preferred qualifications include Air Force Life Cycle Management Center experience, Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certification, CISSP, CDE, security toolchain deployment, container security, OWASP or NIST compliance, and experience in high-security or air-gapped environments.

- The listed pay range is $107,900.00-$195,050.00.
