Base Salary
$130k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded firmware, low-level drivers, bootloaders, and OS-critical functions.
- Contribute to OS integration and kernel-level modules connecting hardware abstraction layers with higher-level system software.
- Design and implement application-layer features and system services using firmware interfaces while optimizing performance, resource use, and robustness.
- Debug complex issues spanning firmware, operating system, and application boundaries with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Collaborate with the deployment engineering team to solve technical challenges for customer requirements.
Requirements
- Active TS clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent technical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in operating system or kernel development, RTOS, embedded systems or firmware design, microkernel development, or bare-metal development.
- Software development experience in C and Rust.
- Understanding of low-level hardware systems.
- Travel requirement is 5–20%.
