Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale application modernization projects and design enterprise modernization strategies.
- Build cloud migration strategies and roadmaps and manage execution from a project management perspective.
- Design application modernization and enterprise architectures across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Ali Cloud.
- Oversee solutions spanning cloud technologies, infrastructure and application architecture, development, and operating models.
- Drive enterprise business, application, integration, and hybrid-cloud architecture.
- Lead proofs of concept and pilot implementations and define plans for scaling them.
- Provide thought leadership and communicate target-state architecture and cloud topology to clients.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams shaping, selling, communicating, and implementing client programs.
- Participate in client presentations and proposal defenses.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- MBA from a Tier-1 college preferred.
- 9–13 years of large-scale consulting experience and/or experience at high-tech companies leading projects involving cloud strategy, assessments, cloud architecture, application modernization, containers, information security, or information management.
- Architect certification on Azure, AWS, or GCP required.
- Experience leading large-scale engagements in application modernization, cloud architecture, and cloud strategy.
- Practical industry expertise in at least one of financial services, retail, consumer goods, telecommunications, life sciences, transportation, hospitality, automotive/industrial, or mining and resources.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native application development, cloud deployment models, containers, virtualization, Microservices, and EDA.
- Ability to lead client engagements, communicate complex technical information to varied audiences, and accommodate client travel requirements.
