Base Salary
$193k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build features and foundational AI services for Amazon Quick and its generative AI capabilities.
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable, efficient, reliable, and fault-tolerant software systems.
- Lead technical projects and architecture for new and existing systems.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers on complex technical issues.
- Deliver software with broad business impact in a fast-moving startup environment within Amazon.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience with machine learning systems is preferred but not required.
