Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve existing and new codebases for quality and efficiency.
- Support software release processes across multiple branches.
- Identify, prioritize, and resolve critical issues to maintain system stability.
- Drive release planning, deployment, and rollback procedures.
- Enhance build, test, and release automation pipelines.
- Monitor platform health and performance metrics post-release.
- Collaborate with teams to develop solutions for complex software challenges.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development using C++.
- Understanding of computing fundamentals and related terminology.
- Ability to manage large code bases and assess risks of changes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills focused on debugging C++ code.
- Understanding of memory layout considerations for efficiency.
- Analytical skills for measuring system performance and memory use.
- Experience with source control workflows and maintaining stable practices.
- Proficient with GitLab and/or GitHub, including CI/CD systems.
- Ability to collaborate positively with other departments.
