Responsibilities
- Design and build high-performance distributed systems for Kafka Connect.
- Independently manage end-to-end execution of complex technical projects.
- Solve challenges in stream processing to enhance performance and scalability.
- Engage with the Open Source community for technical guidance and thought leadership.
- Promote engineering excellence through effective collaboration and communication.
Requirements
- 6 to 10 years of experience in backend engineering.
- Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development.
- Experience in large-scale production services in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Solid understanding of relational or non-relational database systems and systems operations.
- Proficiency in Java, Go, or C/C++, with experience in Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
