Base Salary
$150k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable C++ features for endpoint state, control, platform performance, and core product functionality.
- Develop large-scale software applications that run across millions of managed endpoints.
- Design and evolve multi-process C++ architectures and define IPC contracts.
- Write design documents and drive technical decisions with limited supervision.
- Commit production code and ship reliable products in collaboration with Software Engineers, Product Designers, and Product Managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of systems-level C++ engineering experience, with C++14 or newer and C++17 preferred.
- Strong Windows systems programming experience.
- Strong macOS systems experience, including Apple Endpoint Security, launchd, configuration profiles, or equivalent OS-level configuration APIs.
- Experience with CMake and vcpkg or equivalent C++ build and dependency systems.
- Experience with SQLite or embedded database patterns for local state persistence.
- Preferred qualifications include gRPC or Protocol Buffers, Linux systems experience, eBPF, systemd, kernel modules, D-Bus, cross-platform endpoint agents, CIS Benchmarks, endpoint management or MDM tooling, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and WHQL or driver signing processes.
