Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for ML solutions used to create high-definition, ISA, and ADAS maps.
- Own end-to-end ML system architecture, including data preprocessing, model training, inference, deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
- Develop computer vision, NLP, deep learning, machine learning, Agentic AI, and Generative AI systems.
- Build scalable, reliable, reproducible ML systems for cloud and in-vehicle production environments.
- Implement MLOps capabilities including model versioning, feature stores, drift detection, and experimentation frameworks.
- Own ML or data components within the mapping and routing ecosystem and integrate ML outputs with map compilation workflows.
- Define feature requirements, model behavior, accuracy expectations, and performance characteristics.
- Conduct code and architecture reviews, share ML engineering best practices, and improve development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Seven to ten years of overall industry experience, including at least three years in machine learning engineering, applied ML, data engineering, or backend systems with ML components.
- Proven experience building end-to-end ML systems and strong knowledge of ML algorithms, deep learning, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Experience building systems with Generative AI and Agentic AI.
- Strong experience with RAG, vector databases, LangGraph, LangChain, and CrewAI.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and MLOps tooling and practices.
- AWS experience with services such as S3, EMR, Lambda, and SageMaker is a plus.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable ML system designs and provide technical leadership.
