Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and deploying ML solutions for high-definition, ISA, and ADAS maps.
- Own end-to-end ML system architecture spanning data preprocessing, model training, inference, deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
- Develop models and systems using computer vision, NLP, deep learning, machine learning, Agentic AI, and Generative AI.
- Implement MLOps practices including model versioning, feature stores, drift detection, and experimentation frameworks.
- Build scalable, reliable, reproducible ML systems for cloud and in-vehicle environments.
- Own ML or data components within the mapping and routing ecosystem and integrate ML outputs into map compilation workflows.
- Define feature requirements, model behavior, accuracy expectations, and performance characteristics.
- Conduct code and architecture reviews and promote reusable, high-quality ML engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Eight to twelve years of overall industry experience, including at least three years in machine learning engineering, applied ML, data engineering, or backend systems with ML components.
- Strong development experience with RAG, vector databases, LangGraph, LangChain, and CrewAI.
- Proven experience building end-to-end ML systems and systems using Generative AI or Agentic AI.
- Strong understanding of ML algorithms, deep learning, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Jenkins.
- AWS experience with services such as S3, EMR, Lambda, and SageMaker or similar ML platforms is a plus.
- Understanding of MLOps tooling and practices and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable ML system designs.
