Base Salary

$97k - $185k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
  • Define and implement test strategies and build automated testing frameworks.
  • Develop unit, integration, end-to-end, automated, and functional tests.
  • Drive quality practices across the software development lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Perform quality inspections and audits and coach developers on quality best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, analysts, engineers, and technical leads on test coverage, release velocity, and production health.
  • Develop and maintain testing for login, authentication, password recovery, multi-factor authentication, and related security functionality.
  • Create mock services for microservice-based architectures and improve testing processes using new technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of quality engineering experience in automated testing environments.
  • At least 4 years of experience building test automation for web-based applications.
  • At least 4 years of experience working in Agile environments; SAFe Agile is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of software development experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, TDD, and BDD principles.
  • Experience testing enterprise applications in cloud environments such as AWS.
  • Expertise with Playwright, Cypress, Cucumber, Serenity, or Selenium.
  • Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP API automation using Rest Assured, ReadyAPI, and JUnit.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build tools including Jenkins, Artifactory, Bitbucket, and Terracore.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Multi-stack engineering experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, JavaScript/Angular, and web services.
  • Proficiency in one or more of Java, C#, TypeScript, Angular, HTML, XML, or VB.NET.
  • Experience with source control and test management tools, including the Atlassian suite and XRay.
