Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own a product or infrastructure domain from architecture through daily production releases.
- Speak with customers, synthesize feedback, and make product decisions without a dedicated product manager.
- Build and optimize multimodal agents for voice, SMS, and email, including low-latency voice experiences and persistent conversation state.
- Establish quality practices for non-deterministic systems, including evaluations, prompt versioning, guardrails, and drift detection.
- Develop across React and Next.js frontends, Node.js backends, and Python services.
Requirements
- Three to eight years of full-stack engineering experience and a record of shipping and scaling products from early development into broader use.
- Production proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js, plus experience building Python services.
- Hands-on experience shipping production systems with LLM APIs or agent SDKs.
- Depth in at least one of production voice or SMS agents, long-running agent state and memory, agent evaluations and guardrails, or B2B2C and marketplace products.
- Experience making independent product decisions, conducting customer discovery, and owning projects through launch.
- Strong AI or agentic systems experience, including low-latency requirements and unpredictable system behavior.
- Voice pipeline or evaluation tooling experience is useful.
- Comfort working in an early-stage environment with changing priorities and limited process.
Benefits
- Base salary of $180,000 to $250,000 annually.
- On-site five days per week in New York, New York.
