Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of complex platform enhancements and technology improvements.
- Own technical solutions from design through deployment and production support.
- Develop and improve enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.
- Resolve complex production incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
- Improve code quality, testing, supportability, platform resilience, automation, observability, deployment processes, and DevOps maturity.
- Collaborate with Product, Business Analysis, Architecture, and business stakeholders on technical solutions and delivery approaches.
- Contribute to platform strategy, technical debt reduction, and future technology decisions.
- Mentor engineers through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and code reviews.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using C#/.NET.
- Expertise designing and delivering APIs, integrations, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, scalability, resilience, and security principles.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS and/or Azure.
- Well-developed SQL and data analysis skills, including troubleshooting, optimization, and production support.
- Experience in modern DevOps environments with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
- Track record leading complex technical initiatives in business-critical technology environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Previous experience mentoring and supporting engineers.
- Desirable experience in energy trading, LNG, commodities, ETRM/CTRM, or related trading environments.
- Desirable experience with EOS, Endur, or other energy trading platform technologies.
- Desirable knowledge of scheduling, logistics, settlements, valuation, or cargo management systems.
- Desirable experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar technologies.
