Responsibilities
- Research and develop novel machine learning techniques for image restoration and image fusion.
- Design and implement computational photography and computer vision algorithms.
- Develop and train deep learning models for applications including denoising, demosaicing, and super-resolution.
- Collaborate with camera hardware, firmware, GPU, and image quality teams to ship imaging technology in Apple products.
Requirements
- Strong coding skills in Python; experience in C/C++ is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to develop machine learning algorithms for computational photography, computer vision, and image processing problems.
- Extensive knowledge of camera processing pipelines, classical computer vision, and classical computational photography techniques.
- Experience with deep learning techniques for image restoration and image fusion.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- MS or PhD in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with creativity and curiosity for solving complex problems.
