Base Salary
$160k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver full-stack projects and features from technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
- Build and maintain scalable advisor-facing services for lead capture, intelligent routing, and real-time tracking.
- Translate business requirements into resilient, well-tested software in collaboration with product managers and QA.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, design reviews, platform-wide decisions, code reviews, documentation, and engineering standards.
- Create and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and CI/CD pipelines.
- Build experimentation and analytics foundations including feature flags, A/B tests, instrumentation, and observability.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues using logs, metrics, and instrumentation.
- Debug, refactor, and optimize performance across maintained services.
- Provide technical planning, estimates, implementation guidance, and mentorship to junior teammates.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
- Proficiency with API design using REST and GraphQL, asynchronous processing, and microservices architectures.
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, including Lambda, EventBridge, and S3.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and other relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing patterns such as EventBridge and SQS.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control using GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on experience building LLM-backed features, including prompt design, retrieval, structured output, evaluation, and cost and latency management.
- Fluency with AI coding agents.
- Experience writing and maintaining automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently with distributed teams.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, solve complex technical problems, and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
