Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters across cloud and on-premise environments.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized application delivery.
Implement infrastructure as code and maintain platform tooling, automation, and self-service capabilities.
Monitor platform performance, availability, and security; respond to incidents and optimize systems.
Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve platform usability and reliability.
Deploy and maintain open-source and custom applications.
Communicate technical concepts effectively with customers and multidisciplinary teams.

U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly, or willingness to obtain a CI poly, are required.
At least 4 years of total professional experience in a technical support role is required.
Demonstrated DevSecOps experience and production Kubernetes experience are required.
Experience with Red Hat OpenShift and container technologies such as Docker or CRI-O is required.
Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI is required.
A degree or equivalent demonstrated experience in a technical field is required.
Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Bash, or Go are preferred.
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP; networking; security; Linux systems administration; policy and security tools; and hybrid or multi-cloud architectures is preferred.
Kubernetes certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or CKS and CompTIA Security+ or a comparable certification are preferred.
Experience with geospatial technology, SRE practices, or military and intelligence systems is a plus.

The role is primarily onsite, requiring 90% or as-needed work in a SCIF in Herndon, VA, or St. Louis, MO, with some on-call or after-hours onsite support.
