Base Salary
$141k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions for trading platforms.
- Lead complex technical initiatives, automation programs, and engineering improvements across trading and financial technology platforms.
- Build and support high-performance distributed systems, event-driven services, and mission-critical applications.
- Improve reliability, performance, resiliency, scalability, operational excellence, and developer productivity.
- Collaborate across engineering, architecture, product, platform, and business teams.
- Create evaluation frameworks, validation strategies, and quality controls for complex software systems and intelligent workflows.
- Support high-volume, low-latency platforms and contribute to architecture, mentoring, and cross-functional technical leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of enterprise technology experience in application development using C# .NET/.NET Core.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong software development expertise building high-performance distributed systems and services.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent messaging and event-driven technologies.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies including GCP, AWS, Azure, PCF, or Kubernetes platforms.
- Experience with automated testing, Test-Driven Development, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery practices.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, application architecture, infrastructure, and network design principles.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases including SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis, or Aerospike.
- Experience with AI-enabled engineering tools, intelligent automation, or developer productivity capabilities.
- Experience creating evaluation frameworks, validation strategies, and quality controls for complex software systems and intelligent workflows.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery frameworks.
- Financial services or trading technology experience is preferred, including electronic trading, order management, execution management, market connectivity, or regulatory reporting.
- Experience designing or supporting low-latency, high-throughput, highly available systems and establishing engineering metrics is preferred.
