Base Salary
$197k - $263k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform application security architecture, design reviews, and assessments for eBay product solutions, including AI/ML and LLM solutions.
- Engineer and implement application security solutions using AI/LLM technologies as needed.
- Develop scalable security management tools and processes.
- Own continuous fine-tuning of security rules and processes for efficient detection and mitigation.
- Review security findings and violation reports and coordinate remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with InfoSec teams on security incident investigations and drive the security charter across organizations.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with 7–9 years of experience or a master’s degree with 5+ years of experience.
- 5+ years of application security engineering experience or 5+ years of software engineering experience including application security experience.
- Hands-on experience performing application security architecture and design reviews, including security incident analysis.
- Hands-on development experience with Java technologies, web technologies, and AI/LLM-related technologies.
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and their relevance to secure product development, including AI/LLM technologies.
- Systems design experience and familiarity with identity authentication and authorization concepts are a plus.
- Experience with containers and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Ability to communicate issues clearly with leadership and partner teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced small-team environment.
Benefits
- Base pay is listed at $196,800–$262,700, with possible target bonus, restricted stock units, medical and financial benefits, 401(k) eligibility, PTO, and parental leave.
- Remote roles are not eligible for U.S. visa sponsorship.
