Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and build systems combining security-relevant data, detection signals, context, and foundation models to identify and predict threats.
- Prototype and test AI features for event decoding, environment understanding, anomaly detection, and threat prediction with security subject-matter experts and researchers.
- Develop AI DevOps pipelines for experimentation with knowledge bases, models, and context memory using measurable evaluation criteria.
- Architect and build distributed platforms that correlate trillions of events and signals into explainable findings and alerts for triage and resolution agents.
- Collaborate with product and platform teams to create scalable AI-enhanced threat detection and prediction workflows for analysts.
- Contribute to the architecture powering AI-native security operations and trusted enterprise automation.
- Build security data pipelines for ingesting, parsing, and normalizing large-scale telemetry.
- Develop retrieval-augmented generation and GraphRAG search implementations and integrate models into real-world security workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience, or master’s degree and 6+ years of related experience.
- Experience designing and implementing distributed systems, particularly storage systems and storage access layers.
- Experience implementing data platforms, data fabrics, data lakes, or data warehouses.
- Proficiency building scalable backend services, APIs, and automation workflows in Python.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub or GitLab, Jira, and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience designing agent systems capable of performing coding tasks.
- Experience working with security telemetry such as endpoint logs, network traffic, authentication events, or cloud audit trails.
- Preferred experience building security data engineering pipelines and familiarity with TDIR/SIEM architectures, correlation searches, and threat-hunting systems.
- Preferred experience with Splunk APIs, Splunk internals, or development on the Splunk platform.
- Understanding of security operations including attack surface management, threat analytics, detection, triage, investigation, and response; equivalent Tier 3 SOC experience is also applicable.
- Exposure to event storage systems or custom embeddings for cybersecurity tasks.
- Hands-on experience developing RAG pipelines and working with databases such as FAISS or Pinecone.
- Experience crafting, testing, and optimizing workloads for large language or graph-based models such as GNNs, GCNs, and GATs.
- Ability to design experiments evaluating model accuracy, usability, performance, and cost.
- Background or interest in usable, trustworthy AI-assisted analyst workflows and decision support.
