Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Frontend, Infrastructure, and Mobile engineers to deliver features from discovery through rollout.
- Own features end to end, including technical design, implementation, testing, rollout, and observability.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable Ruby and Elixir code.
- Work with GraphQL, TypeScript, gRPC, Kafka, and Kubernetes in a polyglot, distributed environment.
- Contribute to Fresha’s migration toward a microservice architecture and apply Domain-Driven Design.
- Use AI agents and coding tools while ensuring generated code meets architecture, security, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Senior-level full stack or backend engineering capability with a pragmatic, generalist approach.
- Experience building and maintaining globally distributed systems.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and Kafka.
- Approximately 2+ years of experience in product engineering, developer tools, or infrastructure at scale.
- Familiarity with Elixir, Ruby, or TypeScript is a plus.
- Experience building and interacting with AI agents and integrating them into engineering workflows is expected.
