Responsibilities
- Architect, design, build, and maintain distributed AI-augmented enterprise software platforms across .NET, Python, Java, Go, and C++ runtimes.
- Translate business and product requirements into scalable, resilient system designs and lead architecture, code-quality, and code-review practices.
- Develop Generative AI capabilities including RAG pipelines, conversational learner-support agents, LLM integrations, MCP servers, Microsoft Agent Framework applications, and Microsoft Declarative Agents for Microsoft 365 Copilot.
- Build xAPI learner-tracking pipelines and real-time analytics using Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, and Snowflake.
- Design, deploy, and operate Azure workloads across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models, including Windows/IIS, Docker, Kubernetes, and PowerShell automation.
- Own release management and CI/CD pipelines for application software and machine-learning model artifacts using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Git.
- Develop web front ends and back ends using Angular, ReactJS, Node.js, Vue.js, Next.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, and RESTful APIs.
- Create automated unit, integration, regression, smoke, end-to-end, and accessibility tests and integrate them into CI/CD quality gates.
- Apply secure software development, authentication, cryptography, vulnerability remediation, SAST, SCA, and container-scanning practices.
- Establish observability and incident-response practices using Grafana, Splunk, and ThousandEyes; support on-call operations, root-cause analysis, and postmortems.
- Mentor, coach, and technically guide junior and mid-level software engineers and drive technical-debt reduction and reusable platform components.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Expert-level C# experience with .NET Core and .NET Framework delivering enterprise SaaS and hosted applications in production.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks and workloads, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, large-dataset processing, feature engineering, model evaluation, deep learning, and neural-network training.
- Experience building Generative AI and conversational AI applications using RAG, NLP, LLM APIs, Microsoft Agent Framework, Microsoft Declarative Agents, AG-UI, and MCP servers.
- Anthropic Claude or applied-AI certification, or equivalent demonstrated proficiency building production applications with frontier LLM APIs.
- Server-side development experience in Python, Java, Go, and C++, plus experience with concurrency, multithreading, error management, and distributed enterprise systems.
- Strong full-stack development experience with Angular, ReactJS, Node.js, Vue.js, Next.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience designing highly available distributed systems using Redis, Apache Kafka, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and Snowflake.
- Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS delivery models.
- Expertise in data structures, algorithms, enterprise architecture, object-oriented design patterns, and distributed-system design patterns.
- Experience with Docker, Jenkins, Groovy, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, CI/CD, release management, and version control for software and ML models.
- Windows Server and IIS administration and PowerShell automation experience.
- Experience designing automated testing across the testing pyramid, including ADA and WCAG accessibility testing.
- Knowledge of Grafana, Splunk, ThousandEyes, OAuth2.0, SSO, SSDLC, cryptography, Checkmarx, SCA, and container image scanning.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, and technically guiding junior and mid-level engineers and collaborating across geographies and time zones.
- Preferred qualifications include Claude Code, GitHub Spec Kit, Power BI, Bruno or Postman or Insomnia, GraphQL, gRPC, SFTP, PGP/GPG, Kubernetes operators and CRDs, Helm, service meshes, Oracle, PL/SQL, Teradata, Pega, ServiceNow, Azure Key Vault, and HSM-backed key management.
