Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance test plans, cases, and scripts for ServiceNow applications.
- Build and maintain ServiceNow Automated Test Framework scripts and regression suites for upgrades and releases.
- Test ServiceNow modules and features including ITSM, CSM, Service Portal, APO, workflows, Flow Designer, Catalog Items, Record Producers, integrations, and portals.
- Perform end-to-end integration testing using REST APIs, SOAP, Integration Hub, MID Server, and external applications.
- Translate business requirements into test scenarios and acceptance criteria while maintaining traceability across requirements, tests, defects, and validation results.
- Identify, document, track, and manage defects through resolution and prepare test reports, quality metrics, and stakeholder updates.
- Support ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and releases by validating functionality and identifying regression issues.
- Drive QA best practices, test automation adoption, continuous improvement, and QA mentoring activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of overall QA experience, including at least 4 years of ServiceNow testing experience.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and core modules, with hands-on ServiceNow Automated Test Framework experience.
- Experience testing ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer, Catalog Items, Record Producers, integrations, and portals.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar tools.
- Knowledge of defect management, test management tools, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and software development lifecycle processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Preferred qualifications include ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, DevOps and automated testing experience, ITIL knowledge, ServiceNow upgrade testing experience, and global enterprise experience.
