Responsibilities
- Validate maps and develop basic mapping tools.
- Build and improve a simulation pipeline.
- Annotate and maintain high-quality map information for autonomous vehicles.
- Plan routine testing and validation of new maps according to Mapping and Localization team requirements.
- Work with the Testing and Simulation team to conduct mapping tests using collected onboard sensor data.
- Plan map version deployment and updates on vehicles.
- Develop tools to accelerate map annotation and maintenance.
Requirements
- Be a current student in a Diploma or BS program.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have hands-on experience with a Linux operating system environment.
- Have knowledge and background in robotics or automation.
- Experience with Bash, Python, C++, and ROS is a plus.
- Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
