Responsibilities
- Build and improve modern web applications, backend services, APIs, and data models.
- Work across frontend, backend, and infrastructure according to client project needs.
- Advise clients on technologies, architecture, and delivery approaches.
- Contribute to cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, monitoring, testing, and production quality.
- Collaborate with client teams, stakeholders, designers, product specialists, and other disciplines.
- Clarify ambiguous requirements and turn them into working software.
- Take responsibility for delivery while supporting the team.
Requirements
- Strong experience with modern frontend development, such as TypeScript, JavaScript, React, or comparable technologies.
- Strong experience with backend service development, such as Node.js, Java, Kotlin, Scala, Clojure, Python, or comparable technologies.
- Experience building, shipping, and improving production-grade digital products.
- Ability to work across implementation, testing, deployment, and production operations.
- Understanding of cloud environments, CI/CD, deployments, and production systems.
- Ability to work directly with clients and stakeholders in a senior, consultative role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations.
- Hands-on technical credibility and willingness to actively contribute to delivery.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Experience with customer-facing products, online services, ecommerce, subscriptions, internal platforms, analytics, martech, high-traffic systems, integrations, SDKs, or developer tooling is beneficial.
- Deeper platform engineering, infrastructure-as-code, or DevOps experience is beneficial.
- Familiarity with mobile development or React Native and Finnish language skills are beneficial.
