Base Salary
$140k - $217k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create new ranking features and optimize existing features to improve relevance metrics.
- Develop algorithm frameworks supporting diversified ranking features.
- Design platforms and tooling for parallel ranking experiments.
- Develop metrics to evaluate ranking performance.
- Analyze query logs to identify opportunities to improve search quality.
- Partner with product, user experience, customer success, and engineering teams to build solutions.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with traditional information retrieval techniques or machine-learning-based ranking models.
- Ability to derive insights from query-log analysis and identify areas for search-quality improvement.
- Background in text processing, information retrieval, natural language understanding, or machine learning.
- Experience with Golang is preferred.

- Base pay of $139,700–$216,500, plus equity when applicable, variable or incentive compensation, and benefits.
