Base Salary
$130k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build smooth, stable Android products using Kotlin and modern Android APIs.
- Own money movement features from inception through design, implementation, and launch.
- Develop account selection, transfer validation, deposit and withdrawal flows, post-transfer experiences, and guided transfer flows.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Designers, Product Managers, Backend Developers, and Data teams.
- Improve the Robinhood Android app and codebase for quality, readability, and maintainability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional Android development experience building consumer Android applications at scale.
- Proficiency in Kotlin or Java and Jetpack, preferably with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience or familiarity with Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, MVVM, Coroutines and Flow, or RxJava, Retrofit, and Room.
- Strong product sense, attention to detail, clean-code practices, communication skills, and collaborative problem-solving ability.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred; equivalent training or work experience is acceptable.
