Base Salary
$166k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build Android products and experiences using Kotlin and the latest Android APIs.
- Develop feed, sharing, onboarding, and creator-facing features for Robinhood Social.
- Own features from inception through design, implementation, and launch.
- Collaborate with product designers, product managers, backend developers, web engineers, and data teams.
- Use Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, MVVM, Coroutines and Flow or RxJava, Retrofit, and Room.
- Improve the quality, stability, readability, and maintainability of Robinhood’s Android app and codebase.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional Android development experience building consumer Android applications at scale.
- Proficiency in Kotlin or Java and Jetpack; Kotlin and Jetpack Compose experience are preferred.
- Strong product sense and ability to collaborate with product managers and designers.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to clean, readable, and maintainable code.
- Excellent communication skills and passion for solving technical challenges.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred; equivalent training or work experience is acceptable.
