Base Salary
$190k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Improve the mobile developer experience from local setup through CI/CD.
- Build tooling, guardrails, and automation for safely releasing changes to thousands of apps.
- Increase release reliability and app freshness across the Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Strengthen observability, monitoring, alerting, debugging, and operational workflows.
- Automate release and distribution workflows using AI tools where appropriate.
- Partner with the internal launch team and iterate based on workflow feedback.
- Contribute to the Guest App codebase when platform and product work intersect.
- Own cross-cutting technical initiatives from design through production.
- Provide code reviews and technical leadership.
- Participate in interviewing, recruiting, and engineering culture development.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building and shipping production applications, including end-to-end release ownership.
- Strong TypeScript experience.
- Experience building and maintaining mobile applications; React Native experience is a strong plus.
- Experience owning mobile app distribution through the Apple App Store and/or Google Play, including build pipelines, release workflows, versioning, and store compliance.
- Experience improving CI/CD pipelines and automating build and release processes.
- A track record of improving release reliability and operational visibility through monitoring, alerting, and production debugging.
- Ability to navigate Apple and Google developer workflows, certificates, provisioning, store review processes, and compliance requirements.
- Experience at a product-focused startup, scale-up, or technology company.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, communication, ownership, and proactive problem-solving skills.
