Responsibilities
- Evangelize and simplify SRE practices across an engineering organization of more than 300 engineers.
- Identify reliability and performance improvement opportunities proactively.
- Define and evolve performance, metrics, observability, SLI/SLO, monitoring, and alerting standards.
- Scale production resources efficiently while maintaining resilience and cost awareness.
- Design, implement, and improve tooling and monitoring systems.
- Contribute to engineering guidelines and production-excellence best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Backend, Security, and Platform stakeholders to embed reliability by design.
Requirements
- Experience working with cloud environments, particularly AWS.
- Experience building and evolving observability and monitoring systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk.
- Experience scaling production systems and web applications, including asynchronous job systems.
- Experience working in high-growth or product-led environments.
- Ability to influence engineering teams and drive reliability practices at scale.
