Responsibilities
- Deliver the highest quality of the company's flagship products.
- Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks and custom tooling.
- Build and maintain hardware-in-the-loop test rigs for custom hardware devices.
- Write test code and treat test infrastructure as a real engineering product.
- Partner with engineering to embed testability into system design.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate test authoring and tooling development.
- Design verification suites for releases and build dashboards for quality metrics.
- Investigate and prototype computer vision-based testing approaches.
- Continuously improve test coverage, flakiness, and execution speed.
- Contribute to retrospectives and postmortems to enhance the SDLC.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7+ years of experience as an SDET, test automation engineer, or software engineer.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience writing production-grade code.
- Hands-on experience building automation frameworks with tools like Playwright or Selenium.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages.
- Experience testing hardware or embedded/IoT systems.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
- Comfortable using AI tools and familiar with agentic AI.
- Computer vision and audio/image/video processing experience is a strong plus.
- Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills across full-stack and hardware/software boundaries.
