Base Salary
$152k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead and define full-stack architecture within scrum teams.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Ruby and TypeScript code.
- Own architectural planning, design, and documentation for distributed systems.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate technical risks.
- Mentor engineers through pair programming and design reviews.
- Partner with Product and Design to create scalable technical solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement through refactoring and test automation.
- Influence broader architectural strategy by collaborating with stakeholders.
- Deliver fast, reliable, and scalable applications.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Expert proficiency in full-stack development using Ruby on Rails and TypeScript.
- Proficiency with SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience designing scalable, distributed, and event-driven systems.
- Demonstrated experience in architectural planning and technical documentation.
- Proven ability to identify and mitigate technical risks.
- Experience leading multiple engineering teams.
- Ability to operate with minimal technical guidance.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts.
