Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of large-scale digital engineering programs from pre-planning through implementation across cloud platforms.
- Own architecture and design decisions, chair design reviews, and establish reusable patterns across engineering teams.
- Develop and review Java Spring Boot services, Angular applications, and microservices solutions for performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Define engineering metrics covering design reviews, code reviews, CI/CD adoption, and implementation of engineering patterns.
- Mentor and coach software engineers and promote engineering best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Translate technical and business risks into actionable guidance for senior stakeholders.
- Resolve delivery blockers and coordinate cross-functional, upstream, downstream, offshore, onshore, and external-partner teams.
- Create Jenkins jobs and integrate automated development, testing, and quality processes into CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop, execute, and maintain BDD automated and manual test scripts, test results, defect records, and traceability.
- Perform functional, integration, end-to-end, responsive web, accessibility, code-quality, and performance validation.
- Analyze application issues and performance concerns, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive defect prioritization and closure.
- Maintain technical documentation, adhere to SDLC controls, and implement continuous improvements.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in an application-development role.
- Hands-on Java experience for API design and development.
- Experience with AWS, PCF, Akamai, distributed systems, networking, algorithms, and data structures.
- Ability to lead resources, serve as a functional subject-matter expert, and architect solutions across technology platforms.
- Knowledge of automating code quality, code performance, unit testing, build processing, and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with Java Spring Boot services, Angular, Jenkins, BDD, and software development lifecycle testing.
- Ability to use AI tools for code generation, refactoring, debugging, unit tests, API scaffolding, Angular components, and Spring Boot boilerplate.
- Experience validating responsive web design and ADA accessibility with NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack, Axe, CCA, and related tools.
- Bachelor’s or university degree required; master’s degree preferred.
- Basic commercial awareness and the communication, diplomacy, and stakeholder-influence skills needed to guide technical decisions.
