Base Salary
$156k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain desktop applications using C++, C#, .NET, and WPF.
- Architect multithreaded and concurrent software solutions with strong performance, memory utilization, and reliability.
- Integrate software with hardware components, instrumentation, cameras, sensors, motion control systems, and industrial automation equipment.
- Collaborate with systems, electrical, mechanical, and process engineers on software requirements and system architectures.
- Troubleshoot complex software, hardware, and integration issues and support deployments, system validation, and customer issue resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software architecture decisions, technology roadmaps, documentation, design specifications, and test procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7–10 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++, C#, .NET, and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
- Expertise in multithreaded programming, synchronization, concurrency, asynchronous programming, performance optimization, object-oriented design, and software architecture patterns.
- Experience with source control systems such as Git or Azure DevOps and strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include semiconductor or automation industry experience, hardware and instrumentation integration, real-time data acquisition, high-performance computing, SQL databases, MVVM, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and SEMI standards.
