Base Salary
$180k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain desktop applications using C++, C#, and WPF.
- Architect and implement multithreaded, concurrent, and asynchronous software solutions.
- Develop software interfaces for hardware components, instrumentation, motion control systems, and industrial automation equipment.
- Optimize application performance, memory utilization, and reliability for mission-critical environments.
- Troubleshoot complex software, hardware, and integration issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software architecture decisions and technology roadmaps.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and test procedures.
- Collaborate with systems, electrical, mechanical, and process engineers to define software requirements and system architectures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10–15 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++, C#, .NET, and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
- Expertise in multithreaded programming, synchronization mechanisms, concurrent application design, and asynchronous programming.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design principles, software architecture patterns, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Experience with source control systems such as Git or Azure DevOps.
- Preferred experience in semiconductor equipment, manufacturing, inspection, metrology, lithography, testing, or automation.
- Preferred experience integrating software with cameras, sensors, motion control systems, instrumentation, and hardware devices.
- Preferred familiarity with real-time data acquisition, high-performance computing, large data sets, SQL databases, automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and SEMI standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and independent-working skills.
