Base Salary
$156k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain desktop applications using C++, C#, and WPF.
- Architect multithreaded and concurrent software solutions for performance and responsiveness.
- Develop software interfaces for hardware components, instrumentation, motion-control systems, and industrial automation equipment.
- Collaborate with systems, electrical, mechanical, and process engineers on software requirements and system architecture.
- Optimize application performance, memory utilization, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot complex software, hardware, and integration issues.
- Participate in code reviews and promote software development best practices.
- Create technical documentation, design specifications, and test procedures.
- Contribute to software architecture decisions and technology roadmaps.
- Support product deployments, system validation, and customer issue resolution when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7–10 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in modern C++.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET development.
- Extensive experience developing desktop applications with WPF.
- Expertise in multithreaded programming, synchronization, and concurrent application design.
- Experience with asynchronous programming patterns and performance optimization.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and software architecture patterns.
- Experience with source-control systems such as Git or Azure DevOps.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Preferred experience in semiconductor equipment, manufacturing, inspection, metrology, lithography, testing, or automation.
- Preferred experience integrating software with hardware devices, cameras, sensors, motion-control systems, or instrumentation.
- Familiarity with real-time data acquisition, high-performance computing, large data sets, SQL databases, automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and SEMI standards.
- Knowledge of MVVM design patterns and semiconductor manufacturing workflows is preferred.
