Responsibilities
- Develop real-time motion-control software for robot manipulators using inverse kinematics, collision avoidance, trajectory generation, time parameterization, and active compliance-control algorithms.
- Develop TX Phantom's robot-control software, including actuator-driver integration and ROS2 framework integration.
- Integrate software components to make the robotic solution ready for enterprise-level production.
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Expert C++ software development skills on Linux/Ubuntu with three years of work experience.
- Expertise in ROS2 and MoveIt Motion Planning, including creating a ROS environment from URDF and controlling a robot in Gazebo from scratch.
- Experience developing software to control robot manipulators, such as Universal Robots.
- Hands-on experience with motor control and PID algorithms.
- Knowledge of robotics control theory, including kinematics, dynamics, motion planning, and control.
- Business-level English and strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Japanese language skills are desired for communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with force/torque or compliance-control software is desired.
- Experience with Docker, automated robotics software deployment, CAN/CANopen, CiA 402, EtherCAT, or other industrial servo-control protocols is desired.
- Experience simulating robotic systems and their interactions with physics-based environments is desired.
