Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain business-critical applications.
- Build automation solutions for storage-capacity planning and optimization.
- Develop new features and enhance existing systems through software engineering.
- Gather and analyze requirements, documenting technical specifications.
- Review enhancement requests and recommend technical approaches.
- Prepare software specifications, implementation plans, and test plans.
- Write, modify, and unit-test application code for reliability and performance.
- Troubleshoot software and service issues, identifying root causes.
- Create deployment and migration packages for system testing.
- Perform post-implementation validation and provide ongoing support.
- Identify opportunities for AI-assisted automation in workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in software development or service engineering.
- Hands-on programming experience in developing production software.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices.
- Experience building automation tools or engineering solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex software and systems issues.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical and business stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of computer software, hardware, and cloud systems.
