Base Salary
$160k - $208k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build declarative systems for application and infrastructure lifecycle management, including continuous deployment, continuous integration, Kubernetes cluster management, and service/workload inventory.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, respond to alerts, and minimize downtime.
- Help set the direction of the Site Reliability Engineering team and align goals with company objectives.
- Automate infrastructure processes, delivery pipelines, and database changes to reduce operational toil.
- Collaborate with engineering leads, data scientists, and technology professionals to maintain scalable infrastructure for domestic and international workloads.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of programming experience and proficiency in Python, Go, or Shell Scripting.
- In-depth knowledge of Docker, Containerd, Kubernetes, Helm, gRPC, and Prometheus.
- Experience with GCP, Azure, or AWS.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, firewalls, routing, DNS, and load balancing.
- Experience with Linux system administration and Linux design principles.
- Understanding of monitoring, performance tuning, and infrastructure automation.
- Ability to work autonomously, identify problems proactively, and collaborate effectively across teams.
