Base Salary
$160k - $208k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build declarative systems for application and infrastructure lifecycle management, including continuous deployment, continuous integration, Kubernetes cluster management, and service/workload inventory.
- Prioritize and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, respond to alerts, and minimize downtime.
- Help set the direction of the Site Reliability Engineering team and align goals with company objectives.
- Foster collaboration and a high-performance culture across engineering disciplines and technical teams.
- Automate infrastructure processes, delivery pipelines, and database changes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of programming experience and proficiency in Python, Go, or Shell Scripting.
- In-depth knowledge of Docker, Containerd, Kubernetes, and CNCF technologies such as Helm, gRPC, and Prometheus.
- Experience with public cloud platforms including GCP, Azure, or AWS.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, UDP, firewalls, routing, DNS, and load balancing.
- Experience with Linux system administration and understanding of Linux design principles.
- Understanding of SRE concepts including monitoring, performance tuning, and automation.
- Ability to work autonomously, identify problems proactively, and collaborate effectively across teams.
