Responsibilities
- Contribute to the tech stack by writing typesafe Ruby and Rails code and building Kotlin microservices.
- Manage Spark clusters and work on deterministic Temporal workflows.
- Develop a data diffing ETL engine that operates across various data warehouses and SQL dialects.
- Participate in on-call rotations to diagnose and fix performance issues.
- Collaborate with product teams to design and develop new features for data pipeline observability.
Requirements
- Expertise in at least one interpreted language such as Python or Ruby on Rails.
- Expertise in at least one compiled language such as C++, Kotlin, or Java.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, with experience in data warehousing solutions being a bonus.
- Proven experience in system integration, including API consumption and development.
- Familiarity with leading cloud providers like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience being on-call.
