Base Salary
$142k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of complex application systems and data solutions.
- Design and implement data migration strategies across on-premise systems, AWS, and GCP.
- Build and optimize high-performance data pipelines and integration solutions.
- Drive cloud-native application development with attention to scalability, reliability, security, compliance, and technical risk.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, architectural patterns, and innovative solutions.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies into application landscapes and contribute to the firm’s AI strategy.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of hands-on software development experience, with significant experience in backend systems, data engineering, or cloud-native applications.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java and Python.
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale data migrations and robust data pipelines across hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of AWS, GCP, and cloud infrastructure services.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration.
- Familiarity with Gemini, OpenAI, Claude, Llama, and prompt engineering concepts.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and delivery of innovative technical solutions.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, along with excellent communication abilities.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
