Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting solutions using Power BI, SSRS, and SQL Server.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical reporting solutions.
- Build interactive dashboards, executive scorecards, analytical reports, data models, KPIs, and measures.
- Develop and optimize SSRS reports, datasets, stored procedures, and SQL queries for performance and scalability.
- Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for reporting issues.
- Apply coding standards, performance best practices, governance guidelines, and reporting standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, customer teams, product teams, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead requirement clarification, effort estimation, and solution-design discussions.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote best practices within the reporting team.
- Support production deployments, resolve post-production issues, and automate reporting processes where possible.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, SSRS, and SQL.
- Experience with Azure Data Platform technologies.
- Knowledge of Power BI administration and governance.
- Experience working in customer-facing enterprise reporting environments.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into reporting and analytics solutions.
- Experience with data validation, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and root cause analysis.
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
