Base Salary
$132k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create and own solution and portfolio architectures and associated artifacts throughout the TOGAF Architecture Development Method using Cameo and ArchiMate.
- Participate as an architect in SAFe Agile Release Train teams and provide technical leadership to agile development teams.
- Lead technical and design discussions with business teams and executive stakeholders to align requirements and architecture.
- Manage backlog, risks, opportunities, and focus areas to support team visibility and prioritization.
- Mentor front-line technical staff and help prepare them for solution architect responsibilities.
- Develop consistent architecture patterns and practices across multiple teams.
- Support application portfolio optimization, modernization, process transformation, deployments, and system migrations.
- Partner with infrastructure, networking, and cloud teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
- Contribute to architecture repositories, knowledge bases, standard work, shared principles, strategies, and implementation techniques.
- Lead continuous improvement activities and advocate for architecture across Raytheon.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent experience with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 7 years of experience.
- Experience leading and implementing technology transformation initiatives.
- Experience architecting, designing, integrating, and deploying enterprise-grade applications.
- Experience deploying and hosting applications with AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience working as an architect within agile frameworks, methodologies, and tools such as Scrum, SAFe, or Toyota Production System.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred qualifications include executive presence, strong communication, planning and project execution skills, critical thinking, independent judgment, and experience with virtual and geographically diverse teams.
- Preferred qualifications include formal architecture certifications or degrees such as Zachman Certified Enterprise Architect, TOGAF, RTX Certified Architect, or Cloud Architect certifications.
- Preferred qualifications include technical expertise across applications, data analytics, cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity, as well as experience with large-scale software solutions, infrastructure as code, and deployment automation.

- Base salary range is $132,400 to $251,600.
