Responsibilities
- Define and drive the long-term Platform Engineering roadmap.
- Make strategic architectural and technology decisions across the platform domain.
- Establish engineering standards, cloud-native practices, and quality benchmarks.
- Lead adoption of a platform-centric operating model and self-service capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership for migration from on-premise infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform.
- Shape technical foundations for scalable and secure AI adoption.
- Partner with Staff Engineers, engineering leaders, and cross-domain stakeholders to deliver a unified platform vision.
- Mentor senior technical talent and raise engineering standards.
Requirements
- Strong background in Platform Engineering at scale.
- Broad expertise spanning Cloud, DevOps, SRE, Developer Experience, and Architecture.
- Experience building internal developer platforms and self-service ecosystems.
- Ability to influence technical decisions across multiple teams without relying on formal authority.
- Proven ownership, autonomy, and results-oriented mindset.
- Passion for mentoring senior technical talent and raising engineering standards.
