Base Salary
$269k - $307k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect the transition from permanent access to just-in-time access with zero standing privileges.
- Lead policy-as-code and identity governance abstractions using Open Policy Agent or similar policy engines.
- Design contextual and adaptive authorization systems using device, network, and behavioral telemetry.
- Build developer-centric identity APIs and self-service capabilities for internal product teams.
- Ensure identity and access management systems meet stringent regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Define technical vision, architecture, API standards, and long-term platform strategy.
- Modernize monolithic systems into distributed and event-driven architectures.
- Ensure the quality, performance, scalability, and operability of technical designs and implementations.
- Provide hands-on technical contribution while mentoring engineers and strengthening technical capabilities.
- Lead cross-divisional projects, architectural reviews, and engineering best-practice initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related quantitative field is required.
- At least 7 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, cloud computing, and data architecture.
- Preferred: master’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
- Preferred: 10+ years of experience with software engineering and solution architecture, web technologies, distributed HPC and ML systems, cloud computing, and data architecture.
- Preferred: 10+ years of professional coding experience with commonly used languages such as Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala.
- Preferred: 8+ years of experience with databases and database management systems.
- Preferred: 10+ years of experience across the full system development lifecycle.
- Preferred: 8+ years of experience with public clouds, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: 10+ years of experience with networking protocols and third-party distributed-system integrations.
- Preferred: 5+ years mentoring senior engineers and driving technical-team professional development.
- Preferred: 2+ years leading cross-domain architectural reviews and establishing coding and design standards.
- Expertise in the strategic application of agentic AI coding tools is preferred.
