Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and implement complex data stores, pipelines, data marts, and curated data structures.
  • Build and support cloud data platform solutions, automated Infrastructure as Code processes, and DevOps and development workflows.
  • Support data scientists in creating and deploying AI/ML solutions and develop monitoring capabilities to assess solution accuracy, validity, and usefulness over time.
  • Research, roadmap, maintain, and improve data modeling, development tools, DevOps processes, and operational efficiency.
  • Apply data governance, metadata, data quality, and technical data stewardship practices across multiple enterprise data domains.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, tune solution performance, and establish countermeasures.
  • Lead teams in defining design and development standards, conducting peer reviews, and promoting analytics standards and best practices.
  • Coordinate complex projects, dependencies, timelines, deliverables, working groups, and stakeholder expectations across departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, information systems, business management, business analytics, business administration, or a directly related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Seven or more years of experience in reporting, analytics, business intelligence, or healthcare technology, or three or more years of development experience with cloud data lake technologies using DevOps, CI/CD, or orchestration processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of relational database concepts, data modeling, and logical and physical database design.
  • Experience developing production solutions on cloud data platforms such as Azure and Databricks using PySpark, notebooks, and GitHub.
  • Expert knowledge of SQL and the ability to work across multiple data domains.
  • Advanced knowledge of data governance, data quality, DevOps concepts, performance tuning, incident troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to complete complex projects independently, communicate with varied audiences, and collaborate with senior managers, analysts, clinicians, and leadership.

  • Base pay scale of $66.52-$88.14 per hour.
