Base Salary
$200k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and scale systems that ingest and process social data from Instagram, TikTok, X, Reddit, and LinkedIn.
- Design data pipelines supporting AI agents and real-time customer analytics.
- Lead technical decisions, write design documents, and establish scalable architecture patterns.
- Improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency across data and AI infrastructure.
- Mentor engineers and review system designs and code.
- Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to solve complex technical problems and deliver impactful systems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building and operating production software systems.
- Strong experience designing and scaling distributed systems, data infrastructure, or complex production platforms.
- Proven ability to architect systems and drive major technical decisions.
- Experience mentoring engineers and influencing engineering direction.
- Ability to work with high ownership and autonomy in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Strong product intuition and collaboration skills with product and design teams.
- Interest in AI-native engineering workflows and AI’s impact on software development.
- Startup experience, large-scale data pipeline or real-time analytics experience, and production AI/ML integration experience are preferred or advantageous.
- Familiarity with AWS, Pulumi, Postgres, ClickHouse, or similar infrastructure and developer tooling is a bonus.
