Responsibilities
- Build platform tools and developer productivity products that improve engineering workflows and enable teams to ship software faster, safer, and at scale.
- Identify and solve high-impact technical problems across the engineering organization while collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Improve local development workflows, pull request reviews, environment provisioning, and the unified developer toolchain.
- Support engineering quality through Tech Health Scorecards and sustainable development practices.
- Influence senior technical stakeholders and executives by communicating complex technical concepts effectively.
- Mentor and develop engineers through influence and example.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in DevEx, DevOps, or Platform Engineering with a track record of building platforms and products used by engineers.
- Platform-as-a-product mindset with the ability to understand engineer customers, identify pain points, and design scalable solutions.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-influence skills, including engagement with senior technical stakeholders and executives.
- Exposure to or hands-on experience with AI-native development practices, spec-driven development, or modern AI development lifecycles.
- Ability to mentor and grow others without relying on formal authority.
