Base Salary
$129k - $152k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable backend services with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Build performant, accessible, user-friendly applications with React, Next.js, and Ant.
- Write testable, observable, maintainable code that meets performance and quality standards.
- Participate in system design reviews and propose scalable improvements.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver reliable solutions.
- Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and shared engineering standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations and help triage production issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience, including full-stack development.
- Proficiency with React, CSS, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of modern software engineering practices, system design, and debugging.
- Ability to own medium-to-large features through production.
- Preferred experience includes regulated domains, high-availability infrastructure, Docker, AWS EKS, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, event-driven architecture, microservices, asynchronous workflows, and Python.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in distributed environments.
