Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain product features end to end.
- Contribute to product discovery and technical decision-making with a focus on business outcomes.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code across multiple architectural layers.
- Ensure the performance, reliability, security, and cost efficiency of developed products.
- Participate in code reviews and improve engineering practices.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers in outcome-oriented squads.
- Use modern development tools, including AI-assisted environments, to improve productivity and quality.
- Own features from idea through production, including monitoring and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Solid experience in software engineering across both backend and frontend layers.
- Expertise in backend or frontend engineering with willingness to work beyond a single specialty.
- Significant involvement with cloud infrastructure and DevOps in day-to-day work.
- Strong ownership, accountability, problem-solving, and product-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in agile, product-first environments.
- Interest in AI-assisted development and modern engineering workflows.
- High standards combined with pragmatic decision-making.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Equivalent experience with technologies and ecosystems beyond Betclic’s listed stack is considered relevant.
