Base Salary
$200k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and improve the reliability and performance of Lightfield’s infrastructure.
- Lead efforts to reduce database latency and optimize Postgres performance.
- Strengthen operational maturity across the stack, including observability and incident response.
- Build scalable systems and infrastructure patterns for larger customers.
- Partner with product and engineering leadership to prioritize critical infrastructure work.
- Help define the longer-term infrastructure roadmap.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of experience in building and scaling infrastructure in high-growth environments.
- Deep expertise in infrastructure-heavy engineering, focusing on reliability and performance.
- Strong hands-on coding ability and comfort owning critical systems end-to-end.
- Experience with Postgres performance tuning and scaling database-backed applications.
- Strong operational instincts in monitoring, debugging, and systems-level problem solving.
- Product-oriented mindset with a focus on customer-facing performance.
