Base Salary
$245k - $295k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the Network Automation Platform and define its technical roadmap.
- Design and manage the authoritative data model for network configuration.
- Lead the development of declarative, model-driven configuration pipelines.
- Drive the strategy for telemetry collection and configuration management.
- Create event-driven, self-healing workflows for fault detection and resolution.
- Set the technical direction for telemetry and observability tools.
- Collaborate with Network Architecture to ensure automation-first designs.
- Mentor Staff and Senior engineers and drive technical reviews.
Requirements
- 12+ years of network engineering experience focused on automation.
- Proven track record of designing network automation platforms.
- Mastery of Python or Go for production-quality software engineering.
- Deep experience with gNMI, OpenConfig, NETCONF, and YANG.
- Experience owning a network source of truth platform end to end.
- Strong expertise with Arista, Juniper, and NVIDIA/Mellanox platforms.
- Experience building auto-remediation and closed-loop automation systems.
- Hands-on experience with telemetry and observability platforms.
- Comfort operating at scale across 10K+ network devices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
