Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, scalable production software solutions.
- Lead adoption and validation of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted coding, code review, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation tools.
- Establish secure coding, peer review, automated testing, and responsible AI usage standards.
- Identify and automate recurring issue remediation to improve operational stability.
- Evaluate architectural designs and technology applicability with vendors, startups, and internal teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and promote software engineering, security, and resiliency best practices.
- Mentor and support team members in their professional development.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and applied software engineering experience as required by local guidance.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more of Java, Python, Node.js, React, or SQL.
- Experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Proficiency across the software development lifecycle and advanced understanding of application resiliency and security.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and IT systems.
- Practical cloud-native experience.
- Preferred: experience leading teams in large, complex organizations, mentoring and coaching engineers, and working with financial management platforms or related domains.
